Avant ADVANCE Online Proficiency Training (Click link to watch a brief clip)
The ADVANCE training is an asynchronous online training program that can be done anytime, anywhere a teacher has high speed internet access. ADVANCE takes the guesswork out of accurately evaluating student responses in the language they are learning…it creates a clear vision of what to look for and how to score more accurately using the national standards and proficiency descriptors – and in less time. A teacher said in a training that his “world had changed because he could spend less time evaluating and spend more time directing the students on how THEY could improve their language skills.”

Program evaluation
Teacher efficacy
Student achievement (including a focus on under- and over-performers within a cohort)
Student proficiency growth over time (longitudinal analysis)
Areas or weakness and strengths
During the live sessions, members of the Avant team are able to manipulate your data live in order to answer questions you may have. The types of questions that can be answered will depend on the nature of your testing data. At the end, you will receive copies of the analysis as well as a recorded version of your personalized webinar, if you would like.
